Test kit for Women
(test for 7 STDs and cervical cancer) |
With test kit for women, you can check for 7 STDs (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Herpes, Trichomonas, Candida, Gardnerella, and HPV infection) and cervical cancer.
For sample collection, we provide you a device shaped like this.
It has a foam tip inside, so it would not hurt you. Insert the device to your vagina deeply (like a tampon), and turn it a few times clockwise. This test will be done morphologically. We stain the sample and look at cells, bacteria, and other organisms under microscope to diagnose. It is time-consuming method, but because we look at the sample by our eyes, not computers, we can find small changes of cells. This method has been used as a basic skill for many laboratory tests because of its high sensitiveness.

For sample collection, we provide you a medical purpose cotton swab. Insert it to your urethra and turn it a few time clockwise. It could be painful, but it is very important to collect cells as much as you can for better diagnosis.
Same as Test for Women, this test will be done morphologically. We stain the sample and look at cells, bacteria, and other organisms under microscope to diagnose. It is time-consuming method, but because we look at the sample by our eyes, not computers, we can find small changes of cells. This method has been used as a basic skill for many laboratory tests because of its high sensitiveness.

(test for 2 STDs)

With test kit for Throat, you can check for 2 STDs (Chlamydia and Gonorrhea).
For sample collection, we provide you a medical purpose cotton swab. Insert it deep in your throat and turn it a few time clockwise. These two STDs could infect in your throat by oral sex and could be infectious even though your genital is STD free. It is important to test your throat with your genital STDs.
Same as test for women, this test will be done morphologically. We stain the sample and look at cells, bacteria, and other organisms under microscope to diagnose. It is time-consuming method, but because we look at the sample by our eyes, not computers, we can find small changes of cells. This method has been used as a basic skill for many laboratory tests because of its high sensitiveness.

Process
１．Apply for the test(s)
Apply for the test(s) through this website Application form.
Fill out the form with correct information (address, phone, type of test etc.).
If you wish to receive the kit at post office, indicate the location name of
the post office where you wish to receive the kit.
If you wish to receive the result only by email, make sure you put your
email address correctly.
２．Receiving the kit
If you are receiving the kit at your home address, you should receive it in 2~3
business days. Please pay when you receive it. All fees are included in the test
price.
If you are receiving the kit at post office, you will NOT receive any notice that
the kit is ready to pick up. You could either check at post office after 3~4
business days. Please pay when you receive it at post office. All fees are included
in the test price.
３．Sample collection
Follow the instruction to sample.
４．Return the sample to us
Please use pre-stamped envelope to send your sample.
Please make sure the followings.
- The rid is closed tightly. If the rid opens, we will lose your sample
before it gets to us. We cannot process in this case.
- Fill out the form completely, especially about symptoms.
- Print your name on the label and place on the sample tube.
５．Test
We process the test. It should be done in 2 business days usually, but in some
cases, could take longer.
６．Final diagnosis by doctor
Gynecologist will review the test and make final diagnosis.
７．Resulting
We make the final report of your test result. If you have asked to receive
your result by email, we will send you email at this time. For all who are
receiving result by mail, we will send you an easy-to-read result report.
８．Result report
Result report will include one of the following recommendations.
a.
Need to see a doctor for treatments
This means that it is difficult to cure without treatments professionally. Highly recommended to see a doctor ASAP before your symptoms get worse or your partner gets infected.
b.
Recommend to have routine follow up by a doctor
This means that you are infected to HPV. You are now having higher risk to have cervical caner in your future then people who do not have HPV. It could be years to develop to cancer, but also could be as early as a half year. Highly recommended to have routine Pap smear by your gynecologist and have follow ups.
c.
Recommend to see a doctor if your symptoms bother you.
This means that you are infected to Candida or Gardnerella mildly. Just improving your life style could cure it, but sometimes you still need treatments. It is up to you at this point, but if the symptoms bother you, see a doctor.
d.
Normal at this time
This means…Congratulations!!!! You are STD free this time. Proud of your self and keep it up! We still recommend you to have regular check ups. Here is our suggestion for you. If you get a new partner in the future, ask him/her to have a test before your relationship gets deeper. Because you were brave to have a test this time and now you know that you are clean, you have a right to ask your partner. If your partner is serious about the relationship with you, he/she should agree with you to have a test to keep you clean and safe, don’t you think?
e.
Non-diagnostic
This means that we could not process properly with the reasons listed below.
- Sampling was not successful
- The rid of the test tube was open
- Sampling was done during period, after douche or right after treatments
- Unwanted outside stuff contamination (ex. Cotton swab touched places besides urethra or throat.)
Please apply for the test again.
